Why aren't you awesomed by me?

So, as part of my tumblr sketch blog sketch-ness, I decided to give myself a schedule. Well, I don't keep well to schedules, so this here is the result of Theme Thursday, with a theme of light, and Fanart Friday, with a theme of, surprise surprise, Runaways. A comic book series with fantastic character design, as hopefully evidenced here. I urge you all to check it out.

Characters are not mine. The top one is Karolina Dean, and the bottom is Molly Hayes. References were used for colors and clothes off of the few Runaways books I have on hand.

So, I'm pretty happy with this, overall. Could be way better, but right now, I'm still basking in having actually colored a piece again. Plus! Both my sketch and my ink layer didn't make it to the final version, which I was really happy about.

Photoshop 7.0, start to finish. Livestreamed from the ink layer all the way to the very end. (btw, Livestreams are announced through polls, as my journal has been taken over by an OCT. Again.
